Area around Lake Mochdre
The Lakeside accommodation is surrounded by fields,
woodland and waterfalls in a private location away from the sound of cars and street lights.
Our woodlands are part
of a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), they are unspoilt, and extremely rich in wildlife.
The area is classed
of high ornithological interests. We have resident Kingfishers, Herons, Badgers and Otters. The latter are very shy and rarely
seen.
Free fly fishing is offered to our guests on a catch and release basis.
The lake is well stocked with
brown and rainbow trout.
Guests are welcome to stay during the day, and picnic lunches are available.
Steep
drops and deep water make it unsuitable for children under 10.
